The flat edge will always be the bread and butter for hold specific training. The edge geometry is carefully designed to lock in your tips so you can be confident in your lift (except the tiniest micros - there isn't space for comfort there). The radii of each lip on every single edge is fine tuned to be relative to the size of the edge so you don't have a huge rounded lip on a small edge and you don't get a sharp lip on larger edges.
Metric has the best digitally sculpted texture on the market. It allows you to grip holds without fear of dryfiring and is tuned to be skin friendly. The texture location is precisely located to reduce unnecessary skin wear and promote ergonomics. It feels even better with chalk.

To get the satisfying glove like fit, the module needs to break in.
Like a climbing shoe, the first time will take some effort but after 5-10 insertion cycles, the fit should be close to what it's meant to be.
The ribs around the module are designed to wear down to ensure the right fit.
